Hiatus... Sort of

I seriously hate myself, Readers.
If this blog is an actual room, not only will it be moldy.
It'll be dusty, full of cobwebs, probably rats. and some corpses lying around.
Because this blog is DEAD.
And I'm not happy about this.

But let me explain why.
50% of my time is consumed with work-related stuff (lol).
30% of my time is me trying to start back on my drawing hobby.
20% of my time is just me lazing around.
0% of my time is catching up on mangas & anime.

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO TIME. HOLY CRAP.
But, just but, I will try to not ignore this blog completely.
Because I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I let this blog just rot away like my old ones.
No.

On a side note, I'm actually starting to enjoy drawing again.
And once I start practicing on anime art style, (god knows) I might publish my own work.
Maybe.
But for now, I'll be focusing on creating my own art.
And creating some shirt designs.

Till then

A Confession

Alright.
I have a confession.
I know that it's been ages since my last blog update.
And even after promising that I'll post as soon as possible.

I'm very ashamed to be even typing out a confession, rather than anything related to anime.
But wait, it actually is related.
Somehow.

And let me tell you the one and only reason,
as to why I dedicate this entire post for something like this.
Is because I have a dream.
And I am currently achieving it.
The dream to be...

A Pokemon Master
                        And yes, Team Valor.

I'm sorry, alright?
But I can't help it because pokemon is my childhood.
And I totally forgot about all the anime's latest episodes.
*sigh*
I'll make sure to catch up.
... Soon.

No promises.
Till then

Anime Recommendation: ReLIFE

Okairi Readers!
Sometimes life just smack you in the face really hard.
It may be an opportunity, good or bad.
There may be regrets, probably.
However it happens for a reason.
Face forward.
And smack that Life back, twice hard.

Speaking of life, I mentioned in a post about upcoming anime to watch.
Apparently, ReLIFE is up.
All 13 episodes.

Whuuuut??
Y'know what that means.
Binge watching time.

That was exactly what I did.
And I did not regret it at all.
The art style was totally cute.
I really love it when the character turns chibi-like.
Arata's (MC) face is the most priceless. I really love him.
I mean, look at these:

Oh, that's right, I forgot the synopsis:

Kaizaki Arata is a 27-year-old, out-of-work man who has failed at each and every job interview he has had after quitting his last company where he only lasted three months. His life changes after he meets Yoake Ryou of the ReLife Research Institute, who offers him a drug that can change his appearance to that of a 17-years-old again. Taking the drug, he becomes a subject in a one-year experiment in which he begins his life as a high school student again.

The storyline is interesting.
And each character is so adorable I don't know which to pick as my favourite.
Just kidding, since my bias is black haired, obviously it's Arata.
Although the anime only consists of 13 episodes, and if you binge watch it like I did,
no worries!
Because currently I am reading the manga (137 episodes and still ongoing).

Not sure if there is a second season, but I hope there is.
Because this, I'd say, is my favourite romance comedy anime in 2016.
MC is hot, both 28 and 17 years old.
MC's love interest, Hishiro, is hella cute and awkwardly funny.
She can't even smile or she'll look like:

Supporting characters are equally hilarious.
Yoake is the cutest stalker. I don't mind if he's my ReLIFE support.

So readers, it's time to binge watch this anime.
Because Life is in the way, you just need to stop, drop, roll to your laptop/phone,
and start watching.
Am I right, or am I right?

No you're not. You're left.

Till then!

Anime Discussion: Orange 'Letter 03 & 04'

Welcome back Readers.
I don't even know how many times I've apologised for the recent late update.
Life is pretty busy still, though it's going in the direction I wanted.
Maybe watching Orange helps with my own life.
I'm not even in the future and I'm scared of regretting the actions I'll make.

Initially I was all set to post about episode 3.
And then while searching up for pictures, episode 4 smacked me in the face.
Hence, you get this combination in one post.

Anyhoo, Letter 03 was mainly about Kakeru accepting Ueda senpai's confession.
I'm sure we all were quite annoyed by Naho.
Like,
"Bij, what are you doing leaving a note in his SHOE locker?? JUST FIND HIM."

Yeap. That was me basically.
But we can't blame her. Highschools and notes.
Been there, done that.

Letter 04 however, got me drowning in feels for Suwa.
He's deserve the best Bro award there is.
I mean who could've done what he did for Naho, and still be able to smile like:

Plus, he knows he's throwing away the future he has with Naho.

Someone help my kokoro♥.
Fighting with my inner self after seeing Suwa like:

"Should I go with my dark-hair handsome but depressed bias,
Or follow my kokoro for that tall, kind and awesome bro?"

For now I'll go with KakeNaho.
Because we have to face it, the current POV is not real.
Kakeru has died *chokes* and no one will receive a letter from their future self.
Hence, I'll go with Kakeru. I think.

Inner shipping war aside, Ueda senpai is a b*tch.
Everytime I see her snatching away Kakeru,

But really? Really Ueda senpai?
Are you really a senpai?
Because telling your boyfriend not to talk to girls is just too much.
Especially if your boyfriend is a precious being otherwise known as Kakeru.

So I'm glad she's out of the picture.
Starting from the next episode onwards, we will start to focus on them.
And THEM only.

That's all the time I have for now.
The next post will be about Shokugeki no Souma, Hatsukoi Monster etc
(Anything but Orange.)
So I'll be doing some catching up till the latest episode.
I'll try to avoid posting late.

yeah, right.

Till Then!

Anime Discussion: Orange 'Letter 02;

Welcome back Readers!
Yes, yes, I know.
I'm sorry for the late reply even after I stated before I would post asap.
I'm currently down with flu, and--

HOLY CRAP MY WATERY MUCUS JUST DRIP ON MY LAPTOP

Okay. Wiped it.
Pardon me, I forgot this is a blog. Not some online chat.
So this might've look a bit dumb.

Anyways, I won't make anymore empty promises.
Speaking of which,
I hope Naho doesn't break her promise of looking after Kakeru.
And also making lunch for him.

Why?
Oh, I'll tell you why.
I'll let him tell you why too.
Because that precious human's mother isn't by his side anymore.

Do you hear that?
That faint shattering sound?
That was my kokoro♥. breaking. into a million pieces.
And that dripping sound?
Just my mucus again. Hold up.

Okay. Back to professionalism.
We found out that Kakeru is really good in soccer.
Which leads to him joining the soccer team due to Hiroto's persuasion.
Who's Hiroto?

This tall sporty guy, who'll have a child with Naho 10 years in the future.
And also, a guy whom we will have the feels for,
once we get to know that he will sacrifice all that, just so Naho can be with Kakeru.

Really, this anime will leave you nothing but a bittersweet feeling.
That's what I felt when I read the manga.
But I wouldn't want to spoil it any further.

Anyways, from what I found while scrolling for images;
episode 3 is up.
So I'll watch that soon when it's on KissAnime.
And I'll update it as soon as I can.
As soon as I can.
Geez, I've no chill.

For the time being, I'll leave you with another image of a precious being,
and his beautiful smile, doing what he loves.

Can't the harsh life just leave him alone and let this goofball play some soccer?

Geez. Life sucks.

Till then!

Anime Discussion: Orange 'Letter'

Welcome back Readers!
I've been very busy with Eid, till the point I wasn't able to update my blog.
In addition to that, I'm starting to feel sick (after drinking all those carbonated drinks).
But heck, a post won't kill me right?
*touches wooden table*

In my previous post, I mentioned about new animes that you should definitely watch.
One of it is Orange.
Episode 2 is the latest one, but I haven't watch it yet.
I want to watch it on my TV but my nephew is watching some cartoon. Urgh.
Anyways, when I watched chapter 1 yesterday, I dragged my mum into it to.
She was curious about it as well.

I kept telling her, "You have to watch this. I cried reading the book."
and she replied with "You have the book?"
"Uh.. no. More like online manga."
"Pfsh"

She actually pfsh-ed me. ME.
I don't know if I should be happy that she has interest in Anime,
or just disappointed for not buying the actual manga.
I'll probably buy it. Maybe.

Anyhoo, y'know that feeling?
of finally having a good Manga get an anime adaptation?
You look at your screen and go:
"Omg. They moved. I can hear them. Thank you god. They're so beautiful."
No? Well I did, when I watch the first episode.
As expected of the Art style. All the characters are so precious.

I won't be discussing much because I've only seen the first episode.
My apologies.
Once I've watch the 2nd one, I'll go more in depth.
Probably later tonight, or tomorrow morning.
Here's a picture of the most precious living thing in the anime.

Wait, he's not actually a LIVING thing right?

Everyone on board the FEELtrip.

Till then!

Shoujo Recommendation: Skip Beat!

Welcome back Readers!
I'm so excited about this post.
Why?
Heck, I'm talking about my most favourite of all favourites of mangas in my whole life!
I came across Skip Beat on 2009?

I first saw the anime on TV and while watching it halfway through,
I was alone in my living room so I switch off my TV when it haven't ended yet.
(Cuz I'm a scaredy cat, don't judge.)
And I was curious what happened so I search it up online.
And since then I've been hooked and introduced to this beautiful world of Anime.

Skip Beat is currently the only manga I collect.
It's still ongoing.
Sadly they discontinued the anime.
And came up with a Taiwan Drama instead a few years back.
*cough* Don't watch it. *cough*
I was so disappointed.

Nonetheless, I've been following this series ever since.
And I'm not backing out at all.
So enough with the chit chat.
I can go on forever.
Here's a synopsis, since I never post about it before.

Kyouko Mogami lived solely for her childhood friend Shoutaro "Shou" Fuwa. She follows Shou to Tokyo so that he may realize his dream of becoming a famous singer. When his dream is realized, Kyouko overhears the truth behind his decision to bringing her with him: he was using her as a maid. Shocked and enraged, Kyouko swears to take revenge by outdoing him in show business. With a new look and a new attitude, she joins LME, the agency where Ren Tsuruga (Shou's rival and the #1 actor of LME) works, in the hopes of achieving her goal of destroying Shou's pride. Along the way, she discovers her true self, makes new friends (and enemies), and finds herself at the heart of some interesting situations that will change her life, and the lives of all others involved, forever.

Okay so basically, for you who have not heard of Skip Beat before;
What have you been doing all your life?
Just kidding.
But seriously, I love the art, the storyline, the characters in Skip Beat.
It's mainly about showbiz, and the romance is between the two- no, three characters.

Kyoko Mogami is one awesome girl.
Again, not those oh-I-only-care-about-love kinda girl.
In fact she's the opposite, and we get to see how she develop (back) her feelings of love;
through her love for acting and the hardship she has to go through which also involves her mother.

And dayummmmm the main male lead?
I'll just put it out here that he's my one and only anime crush ♥.
(Sure, I have others but no one can beat him, really.)
Dark-haired, Dark past, Good looks, Actor.
Just look at this man.

And if Dark hair wasn't enough, he actually is a blondie as well.
Yesssssssss, no complaints.
I like a man who can do both.
Did I just said that?

Credits to Kanaetsuruga-san for the lovely colours.

I really love each character development.
It involves a much deeper shit (language please), compared to some mangas.
It doesn't just focus on the main leads but also others that are equally important.

Currently it's on chapter 237.
Only one chapter is released each month and although some might start complaining;
... I guess they just aren't real fans? (Just kidding.)
It's precisely why they complain, because we want to know more and we're too excited.
On another hand, I'm fine with the story progression.
But they need to update the book faster because I wan't to buy it asap.

So desperate for Ren Tsuruga...

Till then!

Shoujo Recommendation: Hibi Chouchou

Welcome back Readers!
I take this moment to rant a little.

That I am thankful for these "unpleasant" people in my life.
Because they teach me to become someone I don't want to be.

Get that off my chest, and now, we shall start.
I was thinking of posting my views on anime that I had posted about before.
But I'll do that tomorrow.

Now it's another shoujo manga, the same author as "Tsubaki chou Lonely Planet".
I happen to stumble upon Hibi Chouchou when it was still ongoing.
I really love the art.
The characters are beautiful.

Upon entering high school, the very quiet but extremely cute Suiren becomes the immediate center of attention among the boys…but one particular boy does not look her way.The story of a quiet girl and a quiet boy. A short, refreshing love story.

And one thing about this manga is that it doesn't go all out love.
By that, I mean you know how some shoujo characters just think about love and not studying?
I'm sure there's a time we went "Gosh, they don't care about school huh?"
Hibi Chouchou is very subtle. (Sorry for my lack of vocabulary)
It starts subtle, and at the same time it focuses on each character development.
Not just the main leads.

I love how the main guy, Kawasumi, thinks about his Karate.
And the main girl, Suiren, thinks about how she's gonna change to become "stronger",
in a sense that she can interact with people and not be timid and quiet.
Hands down, I think Suiren and Kawasumi is the cutest couple yet.
Just look at them!

Well, I did say I was a dark-hair bias.
And there's another character that fits it, and I'm not complaining.
Heh.

Ba-thump Ba-thump ♥

Welp, Hibi Chouchou is actually completed.
So readers, you can enjoy reading this manga (if you haven't)
Without the fear of waiting for another release chapter.

Till then!

Random Recommendation: An Important Talk Between You and Me

Okaeri Readers!
It's the weekend, and let me tell you...
I am freakin' drained out.
I was dragged out of the house to go to 2 different places.
One was a sea aquarium that was closing down, and it. was. HELL.

There were so many people. in such an enclosed place.
Let me tell you, I'm slight claustrophobic.
So throughout the time being in there all I can think of was:
"Oh please don't let there be a stampede..."
And at the same time I was thinking,
"Hey I wonder what'll happen if I shout FIRE!!"

And the other place was equally the same.
But rather than an enclosed space (thank god), it's open.
But that doesn't mean it's any better.
All those street food, shops and a constant never-ending stream of people,
pushing and groping (just kidding).
whatever it is, bottomline, I absolutely loathe crowded place.

That aside, why is this post a "Random Recommendation"?
It's either I'm too tired to explain or it's just a random manga I found.
Wakaranai.

But anyways, this manga is hella funny.
It's tagged as Shoujo as well.
There's just 3 chapters so far.

The high school romantic comedy manga centers on Aizawa, a high school girl who is in love with her classmate Azuma, but she doesn't talk much in school. In the train station, Aizawa says something completely unexpected to him.

Two words:
Random, Hilarious, Unexpected.
Yes, I can count.
The first chapter got me burst out laughing when I reached the end.
But I guess we all can relate to the female lead.

I'll just share with you basically how the first chapter went.
Imagine finally you're able to gather all your courage and confessed to the guy you like.
And having a random conversation with him.

Having that "ba-thump ba-thump ♥" moment right there.
So you wanna try and be friends first with him instead.
And then...

Hold up, is that what I think I see?
Is that-....??
Yeap. It is.

But of course, I don't want to spoil it for you.
So Readers, you have to check it out and see how she reacted afterwards!
And if you think chapter 1 wasn't funny enough,
you have yet to continue chapter 2 and 3.

I have witness his manly lower half...
What has seen, can't be unseen...

Till then!

Manhwa Recommendation: Dr. Frost

Welcome back Readers!
If my post seem "distracted" in a way,
it just means that I really am. Literally.
My train of thought just poofed because while I'm typing this,
my sister is feeding her son while singing some children's rhyme.
So every time I thought of something to type, my mind just started to sing along.

GODDAYUM these rhymes really do stick with you huh?
I wonder if I didn't mention about it, would you have noticed?
Unless you're some super psychologist...

Like Dr. Frost.

Yes, Dr. Frost.
Readers, if you're interested in psychological genre,
or you just want to break away from your shoujo binge-reading;
Dr. Frost is just the right manhwa for you.

We trust professionals with our money. We also trust professionals with our bodies. We even trust them with the most meticulous tasks, like decorating our homes and educating our children. Even marriage decisions. We could trust professionals with so many things. However, what about our minds? The story of a genius psychologist, Dr. Frost.

Dr Frost is a very interesting character.
You might expect a psychologist to have emotions like sympathy, empathy etc;
so they could understand the feelings of their patients and understand what they're going through.
(Well, that's my opinion after watching/reading anything psychology related stuffs)
But Dr Frost?
He lacks that important feeling.
So you can imagine, him being frank to someone who's having a rough time.

Only to make the person feel terrible, while he just goes "meh".
The reason why I love to read this is because I want to know more about him.
What made him that way, what does he really feel after helping a patient.
And other mysterious stuffs like: What does the other professor wants to do with him??

Moreover, another main character is the polar opposite of him.
So you can imagine how these two would be working together.
You'll be able to see how their character develop, and how one supports the other.
Also the cute bicker over trivial stuffs between them.

Once you read Dr Frost, you're unable to stop because of the suspense of each case.
So, I'll admit, I couldn't stop once I reach the conclusion of a case...
even though it was 2 AM.

So Readers, I strongly recommend this psychological genre manhwa.
Because Dr Frost is a hotti-
I mean, the story is hella interesting.
It's ongoing, and I'll be discussing about the latest update if I can.

Did I mention he has an adorable white dog?
Dayum. a hottie and he has a pet. *drools*

Till then!
